During the 12-15 November the 28th Asian Racing Federation Conference was held in Thailand with a theme of "co-operation and communication in Asia".

For the first time in the history of the ARF, the conference included a trade exhibition, of which the Thoroughbred Racing Bureau Pty Ltd participated.

Rodney Rae, Managing Director of the Thoroughbred Racing Bureau Pty Ltd, congratulated The Royal Bangkok Sports Club in the way the conference was conducted stating that "it was extremely well organised and an excellent opportunity for a company such as ours to market its services to a captive international horse racing audience".
